Uninterrupted Operations

SOFTCONNECT Application has been developed for critical offices or locations with high number of uploads, for the purpose of operating specific application functions on a personal computer, in case of an interruption during online operation of SOFTTRANS® Applications.

In an environment consisting of a personal computer and a printer, it provides basic functions like transport delivery note data entry and printing. The programs have been developed so that the application can operate on a personal computer (MS Windows) in Microsoft MSDE (limited MS SQL release, free of charge) and Microsoft.Net environment.

Before entering any data, coded data (such as company and user definitions, truck, driver data) related to only the location where the program is to be run are transferred to SOFTCONNECT Application over the Internet connection from SOFTTRANS® system. After loading this data, data can be entered quickly and in a controlled manner as in SOFTTRANS®. Domestic transport delivery notes can be issued for Domestic Logistics and General Cargo Transportation Application and they can be sent to SOFTTRANS®. Car transport and container transport delivery notes can not be issued with the present release.

There are steps in SOFTTRANS® for automatic creation of position and shipment records in the required module by retrieving data from SOFTCONNECT. After completing these steps, transactions such as rate calculation and invoicing can be performed from within SOFTTRANS®.
