Sustainable and Smart Transportation with SOFT Secure Area EntryExit Tracking: SOFT Secure Area Entry-Exit Tracking

With the Customs General Communiqué dated 06.11.2021 and with serialnumber 14, it has been made obligatory for Authorized Shippers to record and track the entry and exit transactions to and from secure storage areas. This Web application has been developed in accordance with the content and standards specified by the Ministry and it works in integration with SOFTTRANS® Applications. It can be integrated with software other than SOFTTRANS® by means of Web Services within the scope of the application. The application, which can be used on all kinds of devices with its device-responsive structure, works independently of the Relational Database.

SOFT Secure Area Entry Exit Tracking Web Application has functions such as making parametric definitions (facilities, gates, entry-exit types, equipment, action types, entry/exit reasons, etc.), generating a booking record before entering the secure area, pre-admission area tracking, barcoded entry and exit voucher printing in the pre-admission area. In addition, it has features such as driver directing with queuing model*, detailed recording of entry/exit transactions to/from the secure area on the basis of gate, type, equipment, person, reason and, taking and recording photos of vehicles during entry and exit. The system keeps a detailed transaction log that can be accessed by users with special authorizations. Thus, it is possible to monitor and control entry/exit operations to and from the secure area, parametric definitions, booking records and other important activities

Other important features of SOFT Secure Area Entry Exit Tracking Web Application include integration with barrier systems*, movement monitoring transactions, corrections depending on special authorizations, instant area monitoring, display of position, shipment, vehicle, driver and NCTS status data with SOFTTRANS® integration, ramp planning transactions and various reporting options. These reporting options include content such as Instant Status Report, Entry-Exit Report, Deletion and Correction Transaction Reports on current or a specific date and time. In order to make the directing processes more effective for drivers, it also offers SMS directing feature for the ramp they will go to*. Users can easily perform all transactions related to ramp and field operations using their mobile devices*. In addition, it is ensured that ‘Can Exit’ checks are performed in the exit transactions for position, shipment, vehicle, driver; and same checks are performed in NCTS etc. transactions and statuses within the scope of Authorized Shipper. The exit processes in the system can be managed in a more controlled manner by checking the Line Ready Declaration ‘Can Exit’ and NCTS Declaration ‘Released’ statuses for Authorized Shipper shipments and allowing the vehicle to exit.

Integration with SOFTTRANS® Rail Transportation Application enables automatic container entry and exit. Thanks to these integrations, the monitoring and record keeping requirements specified in the Customs General Communiqué are comprehensively fulfilled. For companies that do not use SOFTTRANS®, position, shipment, vehicle, driver and NCTS status information can be uploaded via Web Services or entered manually by the user. This increases the flexibility and wide range of use of the system.
